To support youth who face challenges in their adolescent development, research has shown that mentoring programs can improve self-esteem, academic achievement, and peer relationships. Through program funding, training and technical assistance services, research projects, and more, the Office of Justice Programs (OJP) and its program offices are working to provide information and resources related to mentoring.
