The purpose of the NYSAIEP conference is to provide professional development for the educators and staff who work with incarcerated youth and adults. The 2011 conference was attended by teachers, administrators, aides, corrections officers, probation officers, principals, social workers, community workers from many facilities throughout New York State.
One of the ongoing delights of the organization and of the conference is the opportunity to network, share stories, and provide support to colleagues.
